Welcome to Junior Senior High

As a result of tremendous stakeholder support, from the citizens of Independence, Brandon and Rowley, the construction of the new Independence Jr/Sr High School was completed in the summer of 2013. The building houses grades 7-12, a 700-seat auditorium, a large gym with seating for over 2,000, quality spaces for music and choir, a weight facility as well as other areas/amenities to positively impact student learning and extra-curricular success. In addition, our building is designed to promote the safety and security for all. Due to these factors, and countless more, we are proud of our new facility, and we work diligently each day to enhance the pride for the Independence Jr/Sr High School. Go Mustangs!
