Please remember that School Lunch & Breakfast prices are going up for the 2011-2012 school year. The minimum adult meal price that I was required to charge last school year by the USDA is based on a formula that has to do with my Commodity Dollars and the amount of our Federal Reimbursements. According to my Dept. of Ed. Consultant, that amount was $2.92. For the 2011-2012 school year, adult meals will be $3.00. This amount barely covers the food cost and labor costs to produce one meal and please remember that we don’t get any Federal or State meal reimbursements for adult meals. Thank you for your understanding.
We are not creating new lunch accounts for substitute teachers. They will have to have cash to purchase a school lunch.
