Independence Girls Basketball is in the Wamac West and finished 14-10 on the season.This year 2011-12 team reached sub-state finals which was a thrill for all coaches, players, and fans. For the girls who are members of next years 2012/2013 girl’s basketball team we have high expectations on and off the court. Academic priorities are the number one focus for our program. Our program goal is to have a 3.0 or higher collectively , and all Varsity players are to push towards greater academic honor roll status. This season 2011-12 all seniors were all on the honor role. Very Good. As we all know if you don’t pass you don’t play. We encourage and welcome all girls to be part of this program. Let’s succeed together. Go Mustangs!
