Requirements: To become a member of the IHS baseball program, we expect all of our players to possess the following attributes;
- Desire to develop skills necessary to become an effective player
- Attitude bent towards the constructive development and personnel and program
- 100% attendance philosophy for games and practices
- Sportsmanship qualities second to no opponent.
- Every member of our team must set personal goals.
Earning a Varsity Letter: In baseball, a student athlete can earn a varsity letter by doing two out of three things:
- Play in 1/3 of varsity contests.
- Get 10 hits against varsity competition.
- Get 10 strikeouts against varsity competition.
- Be any senior and have participated for all four years.
